Middlesex Mutual is a mutual company that is over 150 years old. It was formed from, and has continued over its history, to serve the Middlesex and area communities. This community-based foundation and connection is one of the fundamental dimensions of the company’s vision.


Middlesex Mutual is dedicated to providing the best insurance and customer service to its policyholders. In this way, it is dedicated to meeting the needs of the policyholders through personal service and insurance programs that are responsive all the while striving to sustain a continuing, visible and valued presence in the community.


The insurance industry has evolved over time and continues to experience significant changes. Middlesex Mutual actively works to ensure that its insurance services are progressive in meeting the changing needs of its policyholders. It undertakes this progressive development within its own operations, and in partnership with the Ontario Mutual Insurance Association (OMIA).
